Memorisation Monday
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
John 3:36
John the Baptist’s words are some of the simplest when it comes to articulating the gospel. There are only two possibilities when it comes to human standing before God. We are either under wrath and condemnation for sin. Or we are in eternal life.
In which of these places we stand depends entirely on our stance towards the Son. To reject the Son is to choose the anger of God. To believe the Son is to walk into the light of His forgiveness.
Questions/Thoughts/Tips:
Pray: Praise the Father that He is slow to anger, just and merciful. Give thanks for Jesus Christ who drinks the cup of wrath in our place. Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others believe.
