Memorisation Monday
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:16
I want to keep encouraging us to pray (and confess our sins).
One way we can grow in our confidence of prayer is by being reminded of what the Scriptures say about prayer.
James, the brother of Jesus, wants to encourage God’s people that our prayers are powerful and effective. When we trust in Jesus and pray in accordance with God’s will - we can have confidence that God will answer our prayers in a way that is pleasing to Him and good for His people.
So let’s memorise this today.
Questions/Thoughts/Tips:
Pray: Praise the Father that He is a Heavenly Father who is pleased to answer our prayers. Give thanks for Jesus who is the ultimate answer to all our prayers. Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others trust in prayer for help in all circumstances.
