Day 1 - 14 Days of Prayer

5 And the Levites—Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah and Pethahiah—said: “Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting.”

“Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. 6 You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.

Nehemiah 9:5-6

Let’s begin our 14 days with a prayer of praise.

He is God and His name is worthy of all praise.
He made all things and His creation points to His glory.
He is the good God, merciful and kind, His compassion never fails.
He is the God of justice and righteousness, He hates evil.
He is the God of salvation who gives life and new life even to sinners.

What do you want to praise Him for today?
Spend some time today praising God.

For Today:
  • Write your own list of things to praise God for.
  • Spend some time praising God.
  • Send someone a text telling them what you are praising God for.

Pray: Praise the Father for His power and goodness. Praise the Son for His humility and obedience. Praise the Spirit for His glorious work in the world. I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. The LORD reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgement. He will judge the world in righteousness; he will govern the peoples with justice. The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you
