S.O.S.

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
    they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
planted in the house of the Lord,
    they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They will still bear fruit in old age,
    they will stay fresh and green,
proclaiming, ‘The Lord is upright;
    he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.’

Psalm 92:12-15

A Northern Suburbs version:
God’s people will flourish like Cabbage Palms
  they will grow like a Norfolk Pine
Planted in gospel-centred churches
  they will flourish even at the PCYC
They will still bear fruit in the IRT,
   they will stay fresh and green
Proclaiming, ‘The Lord is good;
  He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him’.

I’m looking forward to growing and flourishing over the decades as we gather together.

For Today:
  • Is this the vision you have for your life?
  • What does it look like for you to flourish today?
  • What’s one thing you could do to make the most of today’s Sunday Gathering?

Pray:
Praise the Father that His desire is for our flourishing. Give thanks for Jesus Christ who died so that we might have life and life to the full. Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others grow as we gather together as His Church.
