Memorisation Monday

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3

At Village Church, we want to be people who know the Bible. Not just things about it, but what it actually says. Why? Well, there are lots of useful things to know in life, whether we are introvert/extrovert, geography and science. All these things are helpful and interesting. They might change us a little or not at all.

But knowing and reflecting on God’s words have the potential for changing not only our day, but transforming us to be more like Christ.

So let’s memorise God’s Words to us. That we would know them deeply. Know Him deeply and be reminded of the blessings we have in Christ as well.

Questions/Thoughts/Tips:

• Say the passage out loud 10 times in a row.
• Say it once before you go to sleep.
• Say it once more when you wake up.

Pray:
Praise the Father that He has blessed us with His Word. Give thanks for Jesus Christ who gives us God’s blessing. Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others know Christ’s blessings.
