Memorisation Monday

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Ephesians 2:4

I find it pretty easy to love those closest to me. To love those who love me back. The profound kindness of God is that He loved and showed mercy to the unlovable. We were like prisoners in a jail who spit and scream. We were dead to God and focused on gratifying the cravings of our flesh.

But even though we were like this. We were shown grace in Jesus Christ. This is how great God’s love and mercy is.

Let’s memorise today the greatness of His love and the riches of His mercy to undeserving and unlovable people.

Questions/Thoughts/Tips:
  • Say the passage out loud 10 times in a row.
  • Say it once before you go to sleep.
  • Say it once more when you wake up.

Pray:
Praise the Father that He shows grace to sinners. Give thanks for Jesus Christ who came to save transgressors and sinners. Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others see the love and mercy of God.
