“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
Revelation 4:11

Like most of us, I am in awe of God’s creation. As I write this blog, I look out to the mountains and the sky, the sun is just rising. The birds provide the soundtrack backed up with the faint sound of waves crashing. No human technology compares with the wonder of God’s created works.

And it was made for us. You ever think of that? Creation was made so that we would gaze at the glory of God. That’s His grace to us. That we would get to see the wonder of Him in the wonders of the universe.

Let’s give thanks today for the grace of God. That He would give us such a beautiful, big, balanced and bizarre world for us to inhabit and explore. Let’s give Him the honor He deserves as creator.

For Today:

• What’s one thing you are thankful for about God’s creation.
• What could God have made the world to be like?
• Go and do something in nature today, giving thanks as you do.

Pray:
Praise the Father for His creative beauty and majesty. 
Give thanks for Jesus Christ through whom all things were made. 
Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others give thanks for creation.
