Advent - Day 11
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Hebrews 1:1-3

There are a bunch of ways to say, “I love you.” You can (and should) use words. But in my home, nothing quite says I love you like washing the dishes without being asked.
There are big “I love you’s” and there are bigger “I love you’s.” If washing the dishes is ‘I love you’, then driving out to pick up your stranded teenager at 2am in the rain is a real ‘I love you’.
Hebrews 1 says that God has spoken in many ways. But now, He has spoken once and for all by His Son. God the Father, sent God, the Son to be born among us in the most profound “I love you” message of all time.
Let’s see that this Christmas. Jesus is a message to you. Are you hearing it?
For Today:
Pray:
Praise the Father for His love that is beyond understanding.
Give thanks for Jesus Christ who came to show us the love of God.
Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others show love this week.
