But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect

1 Peter 3:15

We feel very uncomfortable with the idea of evangelism. Culturally and individually. And yet, if we do revere Christ as Lord, how can we not be prepared to love those around us with the good news of the gospel? But how do we do it?

Christian’s are always prepared to give an answer for the hope we have. Are you prepared? Are you prepared to give that answer with gentleness and respect? Let’s prepare to be prepared by memorising 1 Peter 3:15.

Tips:

• Write down the passage
• Say it out loud 10 times
• Say it once at night before you go to sleep

Pray:

• Praise the Father for the hope that we have in Christ.
• Give thanks for Jesus Christ who is our answer to the objections of this world.
• Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others be prepared to respond to our family and friends with the gospel.
