Memorisation Monday

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:5-6

This passage was my/our prayer as we planted Village Church. It’s a wonderful reminder that it is God who can and does give endurance, encouragement and unity to God’s people for the sake of His glory. It’s an important reminder to us that this is God’s will, that we would be of one mind and voice in (I think this is implied) our mutual love of God and people.

So let’s memorise this together to remind us to pray for these very things.

Tips:

• Write down the passage
• Say it out loud 10 times
• Say it once at night before you go to sleep

Pray:

• Praise the Father that He is worthy of all praise. 
• Give thanks for Christ who has brought us into unity in Him. 
• Ask God that His Holy Spirit would give Village Church and all God’s people one mind and one voice.
