Memorisation Monday

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18

This passage came up in the sermon a week or two ago. What a wonderful reminder for those who are suffering. It would be a rare person who does not resonate with the Psalmist at some point in their life.

But we know that God is with us. He brings comfort. He brings hope. He reminds us that suffering is not in vain and that one day it will end.
Do you need to see that today?
One day you might.

Tips:
  • Write down the passage
  • Say it out loud 10 times
  • Say it once at night before you go to sleep

Pray:
  • Praise the Father for His grace in bringing comfort to His people.
  • Give thanks for Jesus who suffered true heartbreak so that God could be close to us.
  • Ask God to send His Holy Spirit so that you and others might be comforted and find hope.
