Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

It’s about that time of year. If Wednesday is hump-day then is June hump-month? We get tired, it’s cold, it’s wet and well, we get tired. Sometimes it feels like it would be so easy to just take a few steps back. To miss a few Sundays. To relax on reading the Bible and praying. To ignore that brother or sister in need.
Be encouraged today. Give yourself fully to the work of the Lord. What you do is not in vain. To grow God’s Kingdom and to bring Him glory is a pursuit that is never time wasted, never energy foolishly spent. It’s the best thing you could do on earth.

- Say it out loud 10 times
- Say it once at night before you go to sleep

- Praise the Father for His grace in saving us for His good purposes.
- Give thanks for Christ who saves us to do the good work of the Kingdom.
- Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others stand firm and keep giving yourselves fully to the work of the Lord.
