Memorisation Monday
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Ephesians 4:1
At school we used to get picked for teams. We were ‘called’ into the cricket team or the soccer team. Christians have been called to be a part of Jesus’ team. And that means they receive the prize that comes with being on the winning team.
So how should we live? We should live a life worthy of the great honour and privilege that it is to be a part of Jesus’ team. We should represent the uniform, the badge, the Kingdom like our Team Captain does.
Let’s remind ourselves of the privilege and the responsibility that comes with it.

- Say it once before you go to sleep.
- Say it once more when you wake up.

- Praise the Father that He chose us before the foundation of the world to be on Christ’s team.
- Give thanks for Jesus who wins for us the prize of eternal life in paradise with God.
- Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others live a life worthy of the calling we have received.
