Memorisation Monday
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Ephesians 4:1-2
Last week we began memorising Ephesians 4:1-3 (starting at verse 1). Now, onto verse 2.
The beginnings of living a life worthy of the calling we have received is to work towards unity in humility, gentleness, patience and in love.
Humility → acknowledging that we are all flawed and that God knows what is true.
Gentleness → not bullying people into belief but persuading them from the Scriptures.
Patience → giving them time to see for themselves and change
Love → bearing with one another when we don’t practice the above as well as we should.
This is a reminder I need.
Tips:
Pray:
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Tips:
- Say the passage out loud 10 times in a row.
- Say it once before you go to sleep.
- Say it once more when you wake up.
Pray:
- Praise the Father for His patience, gentleness and love for us.
- Give thanks for Jesus who humbled Himself to the point of death on a cross for our sake.
- Ask God for His Holy Spirit to help you and others practice patience, humility, gentleness and love.
